Ma Maison

All Ma Maison Assisted Living Facilities are quaint home-like communities situated on Belair Road just a short distance from White Marsh Mall and other shops. Since its inception over 15 years ago, Ma Maison is owned and operated by husband-wife team, Khashy and Nicole Varzandeh. Ma Maison has a history of innovation and accomplishments that have greatly improved the quality of care for seniors in Baltimore for over 15 years.

To make life at Ma Maison easier, we provide scheduled transportation service to pre-planned events, outings and shopping excursions. Housekeeping and laundry services are provided weekly at no additional cost. Services are available around-the-clock, so our residents in need of help can receive assistance with medication management, ambulation, dressing, personal hygiene, meal preparation, and other activities of daily living whenever needed.

Ma Maison grew out of a need to provide housing for the elderly in an affordable and family-friendly fashion. Many of our residents come from referrals from other friends and family members who have resided with us in the past; however, some come because they realize that spending their life savings in only a few years is not the answer. By allowing our residents to use financial assistance programs thorough the State of Maryland Medicaid Waiver for Older Adults, Baltimore County Housing Subsidy Program and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), they can continue to stay with us with the financial assistance they deserve.

Moving from home to a facility is one of the most difficult decisions and adjustments that a resident can make, but having to make this decision again because they have run out of funds is even more difficult. We pride ourselves in keeping all of our residents as long as they choose to stay with us.
