We are located in Brandywine, MD, about 8 miles/15 minutes from the Waldorf shopping corridor.

About Us
About Us
This is my home as well as my place of business. I am licensed and certified by the State of Maryland. I care for no more than 4 residents at any given time with the assistance of one or two other fully certified staff members. At full capacity, each resident shares a room with one other resident.
Residents reside in my home with my family. My husband and I have children; grandchildren; great grandchildren. Our friends and relatives drop by, whenever and we look forward to having your friends and relatives become our friends as well. We have an informal Thanksgiving Dinner, a nice Christmas Party, and a couple of cookouts and crab feasts each year. We celebrate birthdays, including yours!
We are a Christian family. While residents are not required to participate in any religious activity, residents must understand and agree that neither they nor those who visit them can inhibit or attempt to hinder in any way the practice of Christianity in my home by family members, guests, or by other residents.
We prepare a variety of nutritious, flavorful, meals incorporating your favorite foods into our menus.
We hang your pictures and display your favorite “what-nots".
Are you musically inclined? You can use our karaoke machine, keyboard, electric guitar or tambourine. Or, you can bring your own instrument.
Do you like working in the garden? We have flower and vegetable garden space.
Teach us your favorite board or card game and we’ll play.
We have a Wii game; board games; cards, picture puzzles; etc. and encourage residents to participate in activities that they enjoy. Or, we just leave them alone and let them do their own thing.
Services
Activities of Daily Living – 24/7 Care &Assistance
Total Medication Administration – Medications are ordered and delivered, recorded and dispensed.
Meals/Eating –Three nutritious meals and two snacks prepared and served 7 Days-a-Week. (Supervision,set-up, cuing and coaching, and some physical assistance provided as needed.)
Mobility -Supervision, stand-by, cuing and coaching, and some physical assistance can be provided for moving from place toplace. Transfer –Supervision, set-up, cuing and coaching, and some physical assistance can be provided for moving to and from bed, chair, or toilet.
Bed Mobility –Supervision, stand-by or set-up, cuing and coaching, and some physical assistance can be provided to support resident moves to and from lying position, turning from side to side, and positioning body while in bed.
Use of stairs -Supervision, stand-by or set-up, cuing and coaching, and some physical assistance can be provided to support resident use of stairs. In addition,all in-house resident activity is conducted on one floor. There is a handicapped ramp available for entering and exiting the building. Housekeeping and Laundry –Complete support is provided. Clothes, bed linens, towels and wash clothes are laundered as often as necessary, folded and put away. Resident’s rooms are picked up and thoroughly cleaned including carpets as often as required to provide a clean, comfortable living space.
Dementia Care – Complete support for residents with early dementia is available. We can handle behaviors such as disorientation, impaired recall, impaired judgment, hallucinations, delusions,anxiety, depression and agitation when resident is receiving medication orother medical treatment. We are not prepared to handle regular or continuous unsafe behaviors, or behaviors that are dangerous to the resident or others, or that require "awake overnight staff.”. Personal Hygiene Assistance
Continence –resident will need to be able to control bowel movement.
Bathing –Complete assistance for bathing can be provided.
Grooming (Teeth, Make-Up,Shaving, Hair) – Daily grooming support is provided.Beauty/barber shop services can be arranged, but resident is responsible forfees.
Dressing – Complete assistance with dressing is available.
Doctor’s Appointments -Fields of Favor will arrange doctor’s appointment for the resident as necessary. However, the resident’s family or other responsible person will need to commit to taking the resident to his or her doctor appointments. If this is not possible, Fields of Favor can arrange for transportation and accompaniment as required. However,there may be an additional fee associated with this arrangement.

Private Pay, Long Term Care, Medicaid Home and Community Based Services Waiver Program participants, and any other plan or program that provides payment to Assisted Living Facilities is welcomed.
