Safa Group Home is a provider of Community Residential Settings. These are ordinary homes in ordinary communities with extraordinary people. Our home care for adults and children with physical disabilities acquired brain injuries, and mental health disorders who come to receive the support they need to achieve maximum independence. Our clients live and learn on their terms and at their own pace.

Providing residential services is about much more than providing a place to live. It’s also about creating a place to call home. A home where a welcoming comfortable place to relax meets an engaging place to learn and grow. A home where well trained and compassionate staff meet creative and eager clients. A home where our clients feel comfortable being who they are while they figure out and become who they want to be. We strive to be the best at what we do so our clients can be the best at what they choose to do. 24-hour customized living (CL): Customized living services provided with 24-hour supervision.

About us

SAFA GROUP HOME (SGH) is a comprehensive home care service organization that provides 24-hour residential care and customized living for the developmentally disabled adults in the seven counties of Minnesota. The residences are family-style housing where clients live as a family with care providers and are integrated into the community. SGH residential program functions continuously throughout the year. SGH residents participate in numerous community activities throughout the week. Day programs and work opportunities further enrich their socialization and developmental skills. Also, our clients participate in group activities on the weekends, and vacation trips. Transportation is included for all of our clients so that they can enjoy being members of the community.

Our Philosophy:

We proudly support adults from all walks of life in fulfilling their missions. Currently, we support people with acquired brain injuries, developmental disabilities, mental illness, and physical disabilities. SGH believes that health care is a basic human right. It must available, coordinated, and provided comprehensively, combined with other human services when appropriate. We believe home health care is an important part of the continuous health care system, and it shall be provided in the most cost-effective way possible. We believe the services should be tailored to meet the needs and wishes of the clients we serve.
