Christian Care helps your loved ones maintain independence. Our services provide that extra help in managing everyday life. With an experienced and well-prepared staff, we offer the caring and personalized help needed to help seniors conduct a normal and happy life. It’s typically devastating to senior citizens when they realize, or are told that they can no longer live alone. We offer an alternative to retirement homes, nursing homes and assisted living by providing a caregiver and companion, to allow your loved ones to stay in their own homes longer.

Also, many people are not aware that once a parent or grandparent is placed into a nursing home, the elder must give the state every last dime that they have in order to take care of them for the rest of their lives…which may be years; or worse, only a few months, and still their houses, investments, savings…all have been turned over to the state for a very short term stay.

Our services assist individuals that require and desire assistance with daily activities. We can offer this assistance anywhere a family needs help – in home, in the hospital, at a rehabilitation center, nursing home or retirement community.

Janine Mooney, the owner and operator of Christian Care of Maryland, has been working in the field for over 17 years. She is very dedicated to her families, as well as her staff and working to make families comfortable with a loved one continuing to live independently.

In her own words, Janine truly "loves seniors!" and her work. "It’s a true blessing from God that we can put a smile on someone’s face who otherwise may have spent the day alone — it makes all the difference in the world to our clients and their families!

Our Commitment

Almost seven million Americans will be over the age of 85 in the next 15 years. Most of them wish to stay in their own homes, but need help with daily tasks of living. While many young adults would like to take care of their elders, they are often prevented from doing so because they are located in another city or have hectic job schedules. We certainly understand this dilemma. Before taking drastic measures such as selling a home and consolidating personal belongings to make a loved one move to a retirement community or a nursing home, home care options should be considered.

Christian Care will help you find the peace of mind you deserve in providing the best care for your aging loved ones. We assist seniors with the activities of daily living in the comfort of their own home. Our caregivers also provide the quality companionship that is needed and valued by elders.
