For more than 30 years, we have provided the highest level of care for our residents in our Poolesville home and now in Brunswick, MD.

Our commitment to our residents and their families is to provide a dignified, loving home environment that respects each individual and their needs. We provide 24 hour care. The home setting is surrounded by the beautiful Catoctin mountains with breath-taking views of the seasonal changes. Lush manicured lawns and garden areas in a safe, developed community allow for nature walks and daily activities.
SECURITY
Life In The Country provides 24 hour care, with monitored safety, alarm systems and awake personnel at all times.
MEALS
Three nutritious home cooked meals (developed by a registered dietitian), are provided daily along with snacks throughout the day, special diets needed are also provided.
Life In The Country has a Library, TV Room, as well as a brightly lit Morning Room, Living Room, and Formal Dining Room. Daily activities and monthly outings are enjoyed by each resident according to individual needs.

About Us
Life In The Country is located in a small cozy town, very comfortable and home like. Residents rooms located on all floors have chair-lift access throughout the home. We are wheelchair accessible and our home is equipped with monitored smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, plus a state-of-the-art home security system. Both private and semi-private rooms are available. Our residents enjoy a loving family environment. We are not a nursing home, we are home away from home.
