Donata Flordeliz of Filipino origin came to Daytona Beach shores in 1990 to work in a nursing facility. Her credentials were perfect for such a position. Donata was a graduate of St. Joseph College Manila Philippines, and it is her way of life caring for her parents and grandparents in the Philippines as well as honoring and respecting the elderly. She met a wonderful gentleman Orlino Flordeliz, who later became her husband. Orlino was also a native of the Philippines and resided here in the United States since 1982.

Orlino was very much aware of Donata’s goal of one day owning their own assisted living facility to serve and help the elderly extending their warmth caring Filipino Culture possess. The couple worked so hard and both contributed greatly in making this dream come true. Seven years later in 1996, Manila Home Care was born with a facility located at Harbour Town Village in 5463 Landis Avenue, Port Orange, Florida. They gave all their best and their hearts fulfilling the promise to care for adults with personalized attention, dignity, and respect. Despite of the hard work from the start, Donata and Orlino lovingly gave the active seniors who need some help with their activities of daily living from dusk til dawn. They never both left the facility since they do not have the funds to hire other workers. This soon changed, because of the personalized assisted living care for seniors in a warm welcoming setting that embraces Filipino traditions and values their business became very successful. They provided the level of attentive care that each resident desires and needs. They take pride in recognizing and meeting the personal, medical and spiritual needs of their residents. . . and celebrating the traditional Filipino values that are central to their mission of caring for the elderly.

Our comfortable three different locations in Daytona Beach, Florida is nestled in a lovely residential neighborhood and has the true feeling of being “HOME.” Our resident are valued, respected and receive the absolute best loving care. We rely on their valued feedback to plan activities they enjoy. We love to celebrate and have great memories with families and friends.
