At Divine Intervention at Shepherd’s Glen, we provide a homelike environment that promotes resident independence while providing peace of mind for family and friends. Careful attention is always given to assure we are meeting the special needs of our residents.  A thorough assessment is provided upon admission to determine vision and hearing loss as well as other medical needs.  Dietary needs are evaluated as well as the resident preferences.  Gentle reminders are provided for activities.  Our trained staff develop good rapport with our residents that promote acceptance of staff support with bathing, grooming and dressing.  Our residents are always respected and treated with the dignity they deserve while they enjoy good quality of life and the feeling of being home.  Our staff are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  

We have a visiting physician as well as a podiatrist that make routine visits.  A beautician provides services on a monthly basis.  A registered nurse is in the building full time and available after hours for any questions or concerns.  Our menus are dietician approved.  All food is home cooked on the premises.  Family pets are allowed to visit as long as we have proof of vaccinations and they are resident friendly.  We accept private pay, Medicaid, VA benefits, subsidy and long term care insurances.  Come Home to Shepherd’s Glen!
