The Comforts of Home started as a God inspired vision to care for elderly individuals needing healthcare management. The Comforts of Home has been caring for the needs of seniors since 2009. We pride ourselves on being compliant, neat, diverse and extremely compassionate to those we serve. We keep residents as independent as possible so as to avoid their institutionalization, address individual levels of cognitive capabilities, using adaptive equipment if required to the extent possible, and provide a diverse set of living opportunities and experiences for all residents.
The comforts of home meets your loved one\’s needs by:
- Alzheimer\’s and Dementia care
- Provide daily housekeeping and personal laundry
- Serve nutritional meals/snacks which fulfill the dietary needs of our residents
- Provide personal hygiene and grooming
- Continence management
- Conduct continuous observation of resident conditions physically, socially and emotionally
- Arrange for medical care, including transportation
- Make available planned social, emotional and recreational activities on a daily basis
- Ensure safeguards for personal safety of our residents
- Ongoing education of our facility administration and staff – Maryland Assisted living COMAR regulation
